NightRave was half science mess, half Metal Heads. It turns out that a lot of those headbangers were far more logical then her usual frankly degenerate rave kids.
Yaska was rocking some heavy metal on the amps. She had done her work, copying vital calculations from memory. Chloe worked on white hole calculations and adapting Yaska’s work to Earth’s gravity and the gravitational constant of this universe.
It turns out that some of these rockers knew high school level math, which was more than enough to get them to help. Chloe just flaunted her hair, showed some skin or offered free beer and she had a nice group of lackeys. Of course, she was still stuck with the hard calculations. Luckily, there was one young girl who actually knew calculous.
“Red light, green light
I’m coming home tonight
Burning the freeway
Out of control!”
Yaska was having far too much fun at the mic, her guitar changed to crank out highly synthed sounds. She rocked on. Janna, Chloe’s sister, was taking it easy in the back, learning about Chloe’s adventures in the city from Reagant.
“I think we are close, we may be able to open the portal soon.”
Chloe gave a sigh of relief. Things were really coming together. Her depression was finally starting wear itself away through good company and old hobbies.
